Holy Cow!!! It seems that the days just fly by for me and my little family. 2012 has been a great year full of simple pleasures, big messes, and lots of fun along the way…
Ethan has grown up from a happy
healthy baby into a rambunctious fast moving toddler. In April Ethan had his final surgery and
after a week at Seattle Children’s and a few weeks of mass swelling, he is our
perfect beautiful little boy. He will be
2 in February, but is well ahead of schedule in the “terribles.” Although he is a sweetheart who loves to
cuddle and give hugs, he is also a destructive machine!!! Ethan comes in one speed…TURBOJ
Some of his favorites right now are climbing EVERYTHING, candy, pestering his
sister, and taking things apart. He is a
master with a screwdriver!!! He LOVES
animals, trucks, running, going for walks, getting dirty, and his Mommy.
Emersyn is still EMERSYN!!! She has her own sweet little personality that
just keeps growing. She is my twin, my
buddy, and my little helper. She is also
the EXACT opposite of her brother. Em
turned 4 in April and LOVES all things purple, girlie, or fancy. She is attending pre-school again this year
and LOVES to learn. She can write her
name like a pro, whiz through her ABC’s, and CANNOT wait to learn to read. This year Emersyn played soccer AND started
ballet classes. She is always on the GO
and finds joy in EVERYTHING!!! Some of
her favorites include books, coloring, princesses, My Little Pony, dress-up, dancing,
using LARGE vocabulary words, and Barbie.
Emersyn is looking forward to 2013 as THE YEAR OF KINDERGARDEN---she
cannot wait!!!
Todd is still driving back and
forth to Hermiston every day. He co-owns
Five Star Auto Sales with his buddy Russ and they ROCK the used car sales
business. They have grown and improved
the business for 5 years and now have a beautiful HUGE lot right on Highway
395. Todd has found a new hobby this
year…the stock market. I was hoping for
woodworking and home improvement, but no dice.
He is learning quickly and loving it, so watch out Bill Gates…haha!! When Todd is not working, he is DAD. He can play soccer AND Barbies with the best
of them and is ALWAYS entertaining our crew!!
I have spent 2012 hanging out in
the MOMMY-hood. I have read A LOT of
stories, bandaged invisible scrapes, played HOURS of pretend, and spent
COUNTLESS hours rocking in the rocking chair.
I also set out on a new adventure in January. I started my own at-home business selling
Paparazzi Jewelry. I now do a few in
home parties, bazaars, or events each month and have SOOO much fun. I get to talk to adults, dress up in real
clothes, wear cute jewelry, and eat yummy snacks that I DID NOT have to make…I
LOVE IT!!! I also did the impossible and
started running this year…DON’T laugh because I am serious. I have run five 5K’s and REALLY enjoy the
quiet time alone. My goal this year is
to tackle some longer distances…which means MORE alone time…haha!!
Our family enjoyed a Disney
Cruise this fall. We met lots of
princesses, danced with Mickey and Minnie, visited Shamu, and ate more food and
had more fun than 4 people should. It
was AWESOME!! The Perkins family is
small, but we have big fun. We are
looking forward to great things in the upcoming year!!! Our lives can only be described as TRULY
BLESSED!!! Happy Holidays to all of our
