Party like a rockstar!!

SOOO baby boy turned 2 and got to have a BIG celebration at Chuck E Cheese.  He loved EVERYTHING about it, EXCEPT Chuck E of course:)
Ethan only loves ONE thing right now....FRESH BEAT BAND.  If you do not know them....come on over.  We watch A LOT of Fresh Beat Band at our house.  I couldn't even get him to stop watching long enough to get a birthday picture of him!!!  I figure since he wakes up talking about Fresh Beats...except he calls it La La...and goes to bed talking about La La, we should have a La La birthday party.

The only problem...they do not make Fresh Beat Band stuff.  BUMMER.  But if you know me...you know I do not give up that easily.  If Ethan wanted a La La birthday...he was going to have a La La birthday darn it!!

 Emersyn LOVED the rockstar theme!!

I printed up Freshbeat shirts for both of the kids (and Todd and I) and Ethan was THRILLED!!!  Kids are so darn easy to please...Not sure why I spent so much on his ACTUAL present!!  Papa Todd Rocking his ROCKIN' Dad shirt!!!
You know when you have a great idea and then after you follow through it seems LESS great.  Well when I was making us all matching Fresh Beat shirts it seemed like a GREAT idea.  But then when we showed up to the party and nobody knew who Fresh Beat Band was and I was wearing a rockstar sweatshirt...it seemed LESS great.
BUT then I remembered that I have had 2 kids and pretty much have NO pride left....and so I ROCKED my Rockin' Mom sweatshirt.  You know it!!!
Of course Emersyn ROCKS everything ALL the time!!!
The five year old club MIGHT have had the most fun of anybody.  They rocked out with their guitars and microphones...sang and danced with Chuck E and his band....and then disappeared into the TUNNELS.
Ethan was MOST excited to find that there was POP in everyones cups.  He went from cup to cup testing it out!!
 Good Stuff!!

Once Ethan realized there were toys to play on....HE WAS OFF!!!

And YES this is the easiest way to get into a truck....for a 2 year old boy at least.

He was like a bouncy ball...bouncing from game to game and ride to ride...NON STOP!!!
Except when mommy ran out of tokens for a minute...then he was VERY VERY sad.
But as long as he had unlimited tokens (and was allowed to put them in the machines himself) he was beside himself.
He had lots of little guys to keep him company too.  Bode, Colton, Kayl, and Sonny had about as much fun as 4 little boys can have.  Some day these 3 are going to be trouble...but they sure are cute!!!

Ethan got the hang of opening presents pretty quickly...helped along by Grandpa Jon.
Thanks to Fran we came home with an entire FLEET of cars...all of which got unloaded in my living room the MINUTE we got home.
Ryan and Jen got Ethan his first  "motorcycle" aka a Harley big wheel.
Ethan was super pumped to find Shout, Kiki, Marina, and Twist on his cupcakes...seriously you should watch the show.
Ethan made us RE-light his candle because he thought blowing it out was so fun the first time!!
I LOVE this kid and cannot believe it has been 2 years since his happy little face came into our lives.  He makes me laugh EVERY day...and scream .....and cry...BUT mostly laugh!!!
 Happy Birthday Ethan!!!!!!
