Catching Up!!

School has now REALLY started without me. I guess Connell High School can run without me:) I have been driving to Connell for cheerleading practice and somehow forgetting to post anything for a while. Cheerleading has been going great. Our squad is not the most amazing squad, but they are the sweetest girls. They work hard and I am glad that I am still able to be involved. Me and Marcie have had some good laughs. I took the portable crib to the high school and Emersyn and I have pretty much set up a second home:) I don't do much coaching really, but it gets me out of the house and I get some adult contact. Last weekend Todd and I went out to dinner. His grandma gave us a gift card for our anniversary. I think she intended for us to go out on a date, but we ended up going out for a family excursion. It was fun. We don't all three go too many places together.

Emersyn recommends the coasters at Outback.

On Labor Day Marillee and Kevin came over for a bit of a bbq. Now that the weather is slightly less scorching, I think it is freezing. I kinda miss being pregnant. Last winter was the first winter that I didn't freeze to death. So I thought that since I was cold, Emersyn must be cold also. It gave her a chance to try out some of her new clothes. I loved the little Ears on this fleece.

She loved them too:)

Emersyn is still putting EVERYTHING into her mouth. She chews and chews and chews on everything. Plus she drools like a faucet. I don't know if she is working any teeth out, but she is sure trying.

If you have done the math, you realize that Emersyn is now 4 months old. She is still moving around like crazy and hates sitting still. Actually she hates sitting period. She always wants to be standing. Her newest trick is to drag herself across the floor. She doesn't crawl, but she uses her legs and her head and pulls herself inch by inch. She is truly the most stubborn person I know. Maybe the second most--I have no clue where she gets it from:)

Her personality is growing every day. She is such a happy smiling girl most of the time. When she gets tired she wants sleep and when she is hungry--you better feed her. She laughs now on her own, especially when she gets tickled. She has also REALLY started to love her Jumperoo. She jumps and jumps and LAUGHS. It melts my heart.

She once again had to go to the doctor for her 4 month well check. I hate going because I know it will mean shots. I wish there was an easier way. Every time I saw her little bandaid legs for the rest of the day I felt horrible.
She now weighs 14.5 pounds and is 261/4 inches long. She is still in the 97th percentile for her height--so maybe she will be tall.
The Connell Eagles made their football debut on Friday Night. It was truly disappointing. After so many years of being Great, a not so good team is hard to watch. Not that Marcie and I watched too much of the game, but still...
Emersyn got a "first game" present from Marcie. She gave her a little football rattle and a snow suit. She got some quality time out of the rattle, but pictures of the snow suit will have to wait for a future game:)
She had a pretty good time at her first football game. She made a new friend. Ronan(not sure if that is how you speel it) Fife. He loved her. He wanted to touch her hands and face. They hugged and talked and played. It was very cute.
Well that pretty much sums it up for the girls.
Todd is still having fun running the dealership. One of the other dealerships in Hermiston went out of business, so Todd is gaining some of their business. They stay really busy. Even though I sometimes get mad about the hours he has to put in--I guess someone has to work:) At least he has a job he enjoys. He has been taking Saturdays and Sundays off. It has been nice to have a whole day together to play with Emersyn and just hang out. He finally sold my Corolla. They came and picked it up this afternoon. I am still a little sad. Just because it was the first car that I actually loved. But I am starting to get to know the new car now and it is growing on me too. Well...That does it. Happy September.

Jess I can't believe how big she's getting! She's adorable, and I love the purple fleece! We need to get together this week, it's been too long...
