At the request of Rosie, I am giving a brief glimpse into Emersyn's closet. She wanted me to line all of Emersyn's shoes up and post a picture. Sadly, I was unable to line them up because the camara wouldn't zoom out enough. I also must add that these are only her shoes as of now. The front row is too small. The middle row fit right now. The back row will fit within the next month or so. There are more, but they are packed up in her storage bins. I know it is a lot, but I cannot take the credit here. People just love to buy this little girl presents. Shoes are so cute I guess they can't resist. She will be sad when after a year she has to rely on her mom and dad to pay for her wardrobe:)
This weekend was Fall Festival Weekend. Of course, the cheerleaders could not let this one pass without trying to make a little money, so we sold snowcones. Emersyn thought she needed a piece of the action and got to try her first snowcone. She was a big fan of her first food. I cannot wait to start her on baby food.
I guess the snowcone wore her out though. She crashed out during the football game. It didn't last though because she did manage to cry the entire way home. I am still looking for a way to keep her happy in the car--any suggestions mommys??
Here is the baby section at the parade. Laney was not quite ready to join the fun yet. Don't get me wrong, she loves us now, but she still takes a while to warm up to all the friendly goodness.

Creete got another chance to show that he was nice enough to hold my little sweetie. You may notice the arm of steel keeping hold of her--Just in case!!!Isn't my mom cute. She was born to be a grandma I think. Notice the "chair O candy" behind Creete. Like he needs MORE energy!!!
We made our way down to the Livestock show. Again Emersyn wasn't too interested, but darn it I tried to show her the piggies. We ended up hanging out in the grass with Franny and Amy and the girls. Not too exciting, but all we could handle. Emersyn thinks everything is SHOCKING!!!
Todd did manage to catch one smile though:)
Another NEW thing for Emersyn is grass. She discovered it at our house a few days ago and LOVED it. She likes to pick it and OF COURSE eat it.
And since I never seem to mention Todd, here is a shot. He is holding his Other daughter--Gracee. For some reason Franny's little girlie LOVES Todd. She always goes to him and loves for him to hold her. Who Knows???
Well...that about sums up our weekend. Tomorrow we are going shoe shopping--just kidding:)

I love all of her shoes, SO ADORABLE and she is beautiful!!
Kids have always loved Todd. Gracee has good taste and Emersyn is a lucky girl. : )
LOVE the picture of all of her shoes! She IS a shoe diva!! And, of course, her SHOCKING look is priceless!! :)
What is a "fuss budget" you ask? I asked Rosie if she had heard of it and she hadn't either...I bet your mom has heard that phrase. A mommy/person that pays attention to every little detail, from your little girls hair bows to her shoes.....someone who fusses over everything/children ... wants everything to be "perfect." I think it is a great thing, as long as you don't get down on yourself, on less then perfect days! - from the dictionary of Connie
Somehow I knew she would have that many shoes when you said she had ALOT! You always have her fixed up so cute, you are a great Mom:) And your cheerleaders look darling, good luck to them.
I think it's awesome she has so many shoes....plus it shows how loved she is since everyone buys them for you! :)
The cheerleaders look great...especially Katelyn...hehe!
I don't have a lot of suggestion for car riding, that was never our problem, but I hope something works...do you have little toys that dangle from the carseat? Other then that, I'm outta ideas...McKay always like weird things like water bottles and like random "toys"....maybe that will help?!
