Emersyn has found a new love--her feet. She stares at them, talks to them, and tries to eat them. This morning she kept herself occupied for at least 30 minutes by trying to eat her toes. She especially loves when she has her shoes on because then she tries to pick the designs off. I envy her flexability. I can barely see my toes:)
Today Jenny and Creete came over and played with us. We went to the small park in our neighborhood and Creete packed a picnic lunch. I REALLY wanted a picture of Creete and Emersyn on the toys, but he didn't want to. Actually he was holding her at the bottom of the slide and right as I got ready to snap the picture he let her go. She just slid right off his lap onto the ground--face first. I was devastated. Apparently he is going through a jealous phase. I wish he would have let me know that before I handed him my little girlie. She was fine--luckily the park is covered with rubber bark--but STILL!!! ANYWAY--We had a fun time other than that.
Emersyn's new favorite toy is her dolly. I know that many of my friends (Amy) would rather their girls not only want to play with dolls, but I think it is so cute. I know that she can be whatever she wants and I will support her no matter what toys she wants in the future(Tonka trucks, GI Joe, Whatever), but I love her baby doll too. I was a dolly girl growing up and I think it is sweet--NOT sexist!!

I love Emersyn's dolly too - and sorry about the face plant. Unfortunately, it's probably only the first of many!
I think the girls did really good today learning new cheers - hopefully you'll be impressed. :)
