Warm weather--YAY!!

Warning: Unless your are my out of town family or really like looking at pictures of my daughter, you may want to skip this post.
We are SUPER excited for the warm weather. Last week Em and I did not leave the house from Sunday night until Friday afternoon---not even for walks. We were inside these four walls. SO WE ARE SO HAPPY TO BE PLAYING OUTSIDE AGAIN.
Here is what we have been up to....Emersyn has become an independant eater. She will not allow me to feed her--she wants to be a big girl. This is what happens when a little girl makes a BIG dinnertime mess.

Doesn't she look so sweet though while she is wrecking my kitchen?

She ISSSS very thorough....Even getting the back:)

Her finger has found a new favorite place to rest too. I am not sure how to get her to stop. She just parks it in there--oh well. I will pick my battles and that is not something I will go to the plate for.

Thanks for the water toy Grandma and Grandpa--it works great to wash to down all of the dirt I have been eating. Could she be any happier???? Dirt and water and sunshine--OH MY!!!

The only problem is that I have to change her clothes all day long because she comes to me looking like this.

Am I in trouble???? Who could be mad at that face???

MMMMMM. More drinking out of her new giant drinking fountain. I think it is hilarious that no matter what we put into this toy, she ONLY wants to drink the water.

Monday we headed to Hermiston to help out Amy, but ended up playing and not helping. The girls enjoyed playing in the water---mostly drinking it--you get the pattern!! Look at those chubby legs. I love it. She lost 2 pounds when she got the flu, but she has been working hard to chub back up--I think her hard work is paying off--SO CUTE!!

Delaney using the mat for a drinking fountain. I think she has lived with 2 dogs for too long:)

Emersyn was not so sure what to do. She did not want to sit down in the water, but got bored just standing there. We need another 90 degree day so that she can practice playing again.

SHARING!!! 2 kids, 2 boats--NO CRYING.

And MY little puppy dog lapping up a little water--where do they learn this stuff??

This is what happens when I allow Emersyn to unpack my primary bag--I knew there were markers inside, but she has never gotten the lids off before. I guess that is what happens when you turn ONE!!

These pictures are kinda blurry, and you cannot see that her lips and tongue are rainbow colored because OF COURSE she taste tested all of the colors. She looks a little high off marker fumes, but she was happy---BIG FIT when I took the markers away.

Her hands did not come clean. All day she kept looking at them with a really confused expression--like hey, why are my hands rainbow??? Then she would lick them. Crazy cooky kid.

I finished my very last graduation quilt--YAY!! Someone might wanna teach me to center my pictures--no sure what happened there.

I liked this quilt before I put the binding on, but after----I loved the way it turned out. I fell in love with the striped binding.

Well that is us. Tonight we finished cheer tryouts and the squads are picked. Next year will be interesting, but I am sure it will be fun. I hope to enjoy more of the warm weather this weekend--I will try not to take so many pictures (except I know there are grandmas out there who love to see each and every one).
