Memorial Day Weekend

Well we have really been enjoying the great weather and hope it does not end any time soon. Emersyn has been in a great mood--it is amazing what a little sleep will do:) We spent Memorial Day at Franny's house with Grace, Laney, and Amy--and Fran of course. I think Em knew that she was headed somewhere fun. Could she be any more comfortable on the way???? I guess she knew it was a vacation day.

Fran and Jake have turned their backyard into Kid Fun Land and Emersyn didn't even know where to start. There was swimming, and swinging, and a slide and lots of sand and rocks to eat.

Em is still anti-swing, but Delaney has no such phobia. She was loving the swing-set.

I LOVE this girl and her freckles (almost as much as I love her piggies).

Emersyn really enjoyed the all you can eat lunch--check out that tummy-tum-tum!!! She is for sure my kid. Once when I was growing up my brother told me I looked like I swallowed a basketball--she is following in my chubby little footsteps.

She has turned into a climbing monkey--or a billy goat. She is now up on EVERYTHING!! Plus she had to kill all of the time that she was NOT swimming. For some reason she is still not a fan--which makes me sad because that is what we got her for her birthday. I guess we better blow her pool up and practice.

Emersyhn came home with this monster scratch on her arm. It seriously made me feel like a bad mom because when it happened I didn't do anything. I looked at it and thought it was a little cut or sliver and that the blood just dripped down her arm. When I got her home and washed her up, I realized it was a huge cut. She barely cried so I blew it off and now I feel horrible. Trust me I have given it lots of kisses since Monday.

Em got this bike stroller for her birthday, but just tried it out for the first time. Todd took her around the block and she thought it was pretty cool. I think it will be good for when she has a buddy--come on over Gracee and Laney-if you don't mind getting put into a straight jacket in order to ride:)

I just thought these last 2 pictures were share-worthy. Nothing really happening, but just shows what a cutie/weirdo my daughter is. I love it. Just when I think I have her figured out, she does something else crazy--LOVE THIS KID!!!
