Where has spring gone???

Is anyone else tired of this weather???? I am so ready for the sun to shine and the wind to stop blowing. We are housebound!!! Emersyn and I had gotten used to taking a walk every day and then playing out in the yard to wear her out. With this wind, we are stuck inside staring at each other. We have tried to make our own spring time inside, with popsicles, running around naked (her not me), and wagon rides (up and down the hall), but is JUST IS NOT THE SAME!!

I have gotten quite a bit of quilting done, but would rather be outside playing. Quilting does not wear down Emersyn's energy levels the way the outdoors does:)
The pictures of this quilt are not great, but I really ended up loving this one.

It is hard to tell in the pictures, but the silver outlines on the fabric are sparkly, it made the quilt very pretty and different.

Butterflies for the back.

This one was just simple squares and was supposed to be simple, but everything that could go wrong with it did. It was cursed or something. It has by far been my most frustrating project and has quite a few flaws in the finished project. It spent many a night in time out!!!! I will be glad to get it out of my house!!! It was cute and bright, but I still don't wanna be its friend anytime soon:)

I only have 1 more graduation present quilt to tie and bind and then I will be done. I am excited to get them away from me. I have 2 projects ready to go for my own house and would love to get started on them--selfish I know. I just dont wanna tie anything else--I hate it. BUT I was not going to put any more time and money into these quilts than I already had, so they are getting tied and outta here. Enough rambling....being inside closed doors and listening to the wind outside is obviously affecting my brain--I NEED THE SUNSHINE!!!!
On a positive note...After a week of all night ups and downs and mostly sleeping in my bed, Emersyn's two front teeth have arrived and she slept in her crib last night from 8 until 630 this morning. Hallelujah!!!!! I know she is a little old to just get her two front teeth, but the side ones came in first. Trust me I asked Franny and the doctor and they both said it was fine:) She will have all of her teeth eventually!!!! Maybe when that day comes I will finally get a few good nights of sleep and Emersyn will have a chance at a sibling:) MAYBE!!

She is just the cutest and she totally made my Mother's Day when she rocked her way out of Todd's arms to get down and come running to me to give me her sweet little hugs! I love her.
Your quilts are gorgeous. I hate to say it but I really love the one that gave you so much trouble...lol The colors are great!
