Well...it is fair time again. Last week we loaded up the kids and headed to the Hermiston Fair. Emersyn had a great time and Ethan...well Ethan was mostly just along for the ride:)
As soon as we walked in the gates, Emersyn got put in a show. They threw a costume on her and VOILA...she was a star!! They must have known...SHE WAS A DANCER!!!She Do-Si-Do'd...
She SWUNG her partner....
She did some free-stylin....
And she took a bow!!!
Ethan on the other hand just hung out and ate snacks...he was not interested in being a cowboy. Emersyn also got to ride a pony. She was super excited to pick out her own and of course picked the one with makeup on...she had blue paint around her eyes.
Delaney picked the pony with the lovely braids. Ethan and Colton chose to NOT participate in the pony rides. Actually Ethan clung to his dad and screamed like a howler monkey...I guess pony rides are not his thing.
These two cuties crack me up. They ran around, ate junk food, petted animals, never stopped talking, AND Laney even touched a snake...crazy girl!!
Ethan pretty much ate snowcones, waved at people, cried at the animals, freaked out over an over friendly sheep, and rode around in his stroller....I guess the fair isn't for everyone:)
He did take a moment to give me KNUCKS....Sooo cute!!
And after noticing EVERY kid with a balloon for hours....he FINALLY talked someone into giving him a balloon of his own. Balloons equal Happiness when you are 1.
Emersyn got a big beautiful butterfly painted on her face (and refused to wash it off for a couple days).
They also got to spin for a book. Ethan was super excited until the librarian informed him that he only got to spin ONCE and then his prize was a BOOK. He LOVED the wheel, but the book...AH not interested.
All in all it was a fun night filled with elephant ears, deep fried dinner, Josh Gracin, lots of people watching, and even a tiger. In other words...4 year old HEAVEN!!
