on a happier note...

Not ALL of our memories have been sad ones.  A few weeks back we took our kids to the park for an afternoon picnic.  It was a win---win.  I got to eat food that I didn't make and the kids got to burn off some energy.  AND THEN...naps for everyone!!!  YAY!!

 This is Ethan's PREFERRED way of going down the slide;)

 This is the view of Ethan that I get ALL DAY LONG.  The view of him climbing IMPOSSIBLY high and NOT stopping. 

 And even though his sweet sister is posing for HER picture...he still never gives up. 

And guess what...HE CAN CLIMB ALL THE WAY UP!!!  And over and over and over again.  It terrifies me EVERY time, but I guess I better get used to it because I have MANY years of crazy boy ahead of me I think.  Good thing he is so cute!!!
