He is a sad sight in his crib. He is one tiny baby with about 10 different things coming out of him...a pee tube, a drain in his head, lots of monitor wires, 2 IV's, one artery IV that is covered by a small strap on cast, and who know what else. He is well monitored that is for sure.
E has been in the ICU all day. Here is the view from his window. CONSTRUCTION!!! We spent hours today watching little tiny men drive tractors and move dirt.
It is a lot like watching an ant farm.
And if you look REALLY close you might even see the Space Needle. Pretty much Ethan is either sleeping or crying at this point. OR Sleep CRYING!!! He is a sad little boy with a bad headache. I wish I could be the one in pain instead of him. PLUS he needs to come back in 9 months to have the 2nd part of the procedure. They have widened the back of his skull, now they need to widen the front portion. The 2nd operation involves the eye sockets and forehead, so it will change his looks even more.
We are hanging in there and hoping that tomorrow is a better day!!
