Today I am thankful for the beautiful Fall colors. We got the chance to go for a short walk today through our neighborhood and enjoy all of the beautiful leaves. Red and orange loveliness!! Emersyn was jumping for joy....
LITERALLY!!
For some reason it just makes me happy. The crisp cool air, the crunching underfoot, and of course the thoughts of hot chocolate upon return:) I am not sure if it is the upcoming yumminess of Thanksgiving or what, but I just LOVE fall. If we are being honest, it might be the fact that I can once again wear hoodies all day every day...just sayin!
Ethan was a little bitter that he had to stay in the wagon while his sister was out jumping in the leaves. We were on a bit of a time crunch though, so he had to settle for a wagon full of leaves. IT JUST WASN'T the same.
I just think there is something a bit magical about a long line of Fall colored trees. It is sad that in a few weeks these beauties will be all naked brown. Of course according to Emersyn..."it is about time for SNOW to come now mom." I guess making LEAF angels is only fun for so long!!
She collected quit a bouquet before heading home. She wanted one of each color for each of her friends AND Miss Tonya (her pre-school teacher). I love that everything cool has to go in her backpack to take to school.
SOOOO Yay for Fall colors, cute puffy coats, and hot cocoa!!!
