As soon as I opened the curtains this morning I KNEW it was going to be a good day. The kids RAN (or the crawling equivilent of running)to the door. Nothing cuter than 2 happy kids watching the first snow of the year. NOTHING!!! SoOo today I am thankful for the magic of snow.
Snow turns kids into big puffy balls of energy and turns adults into....WELL kids!!!
Emersyn ran straight from the door to her bedroom to get her SNOW CLOTHES!!! ALL of them. I wasn't sure she needed EVERYTHING for one inch of snow...but I was wrong. We needed the whole snowy shebang!!!
While Em licked the snow off of the swingset, I tried to catch a shot of the falling snow. I think snow is soooo pretty, but such a pain.
Emersyn just thinks it means that CHRISTMAS is here!!! I told her Thanksgiving was first and she told me that Thanksgiving is dumb...she wants Christmas!!! I guess the love of enormous amounts of food comes later...because I know that I am ready for stuffing and pie.
Ethan got to bundle up and head out for a minute (cheeto booger face and all). He loved the snow hitting him in the face. SOME DAY he may not forgive me for putting his sister's hat on him, but I didn't wanna dig for his. PLUS he looked so darn cute!!!
I almost wet my pants when Emersyn went flying down the slide and then slid halfway across the lawn. Good thing she thought it was hilarious too!!!
Today the snow made me happy. Happy watching this sweet girl have the time of her life.
She has ONLY been waiting for snow since....well when did it snow last?????
