November 9 (actually on the 9th--woot woot!!)

Today I am thankful for Cheetos.  Not because they are cheesy and delicious.  Not because they turn your fingers orange with their lovely cheesy powder.  Not because the big bags were only 1.99 at Freddy's today.  Although ALL of those make them EVEN better.  I happen to love them because they have recently become Toddler Currency at my house.   Here is the story...
A few months back I bought some Diego Pull Ups because they were super cheap at the store (like almost free).  I realize they are for boys, but we watch Diego ALL THE TIME at our house, so I figured Emersyn would not care.  She loves Diego.  She has a Diego bike.  She has a Rescue Pack.  Seriously...I think she may have a bit of a crush on Diego.  But even with all of that Diego love do you think I could get her to wear those darn Pull Ups???  NO WAY!!!  She cried and kicked and screamed and refused to wear them.  "Diego is for BOYS!!!  I want Princesses!!!"  She just kept screaming at me.  I could not even force her to wear them because she was soooooo sad about it.  Well recenly we got down to our last couple of princess Pull Ups and I REALLY wanted to get rid of those darn Diegos, so I asked her what it would cost me for her to wear them.  She thought for a minute and then said..."a bag of Cheetos JUST for me, not for daddy."  SOLD!!!  I got off much cheaper than I had expected.  She has now worn the Diegos for a few days with NO complaints and today we headed to the CHEETO STORE (as Emersyn now calls Fred Meyer) and picked her up her prize.  OH HAPPY DAY!!!
