All of that aside...he is cute as can be and is healing up SUPER FAST. You can barely even see his scar and his hair is growing back to cover it all up.
I am not SURE, but I think having his head cut open, rearranged, and put back together ACTUALLY made him faster some how...and more of a daredevil. I have found him standing in the middle of the kitchen table, sitting in the backroom sink with the water running, and standing on the back of a wobbly park bench peaking over the top of a fence at me. I have also watched him climb to the top of a park toy, take a look around, and jump off and try to slide down the fireman's pole. Needless to say he didn't make it and took a header into the bark below. Even with road rash face, and pink eyes filled with bark, he was still running up to go down the slide again....I was having a minor stroke.
Ethan's favorite toy right now...the kitchen chairs. They are his gate to the world. I can hear him ALL day dragging the chair to where he wants to be. If he wants in the fridge...he drags it over to the fridge. If he wants to wash his hands...he drags it over to the sink. If he wants to jump over the back of the couch and do a somersault over the couch and down to the floor...well you get the idea. ONE THOUSAND TIMES A DAY I hear....SCREATCH...and know that Ethan is wreaking havoc SOMEWHERE in my kitchen.
ANDDDDD yes....he likes to use REAL forks. YEP...the big sharp kind!!! ANDDDDD he wants to do it himself!!!! Despite all of the GRRRRSS all day long...Ethan is my buddy (when I don't want to lock him on the porch). He is a cuddle monkey (when you can get him to hold still) and LOVES his mommy. He is a pretty cool kid...I am sure glad he came to live at our house:)
