Before having kids I knew that men were from Mars and women were from Venus, but what I did not know was that these differences started from DAY 1. Ethan came out and started his life as an ENTIRE different species than his sister. Every day I am more and more amazed at how BOY-ish Ethan is...even as a 1 year old. And Emersyn...well she is and always will be the princess of the house. FOR EXAMPLE...
This is how Emersyn reads. She goes into her room, closes the door, lines up her library books, and reads to her dolls or imaginary friends. She makes up wonderful stories and can spend HOURS "reading" her books.
ORRR she will come and get the iPad and go and find a safe place to use it----like mommy's bed. She will color and create beautiful pictures and spend HOURS all by herself singing and coloring.
He spends 30 seconds climbing onto the tables, does a little victory dance on the top, jumps off (literally), tips over the chairs (who knows why), and then runs off to rip all of the books off the shelf. He spends NO LONGER than 30 seconds at each activity before running off to find something more exciting to entertain him.
I love them both, but obviously I understand Mars A LOT more than Venus!!!
Emersyn wanted me to take a picture of Aticus...AND Kid 3 even gave me a little smile.
I am in for a WHOLE new set of boy adventures this summer...I can already tell. AND yes, he HAS figured out how to spray me with that hose...bummer!!!
