All about Todd Tag:)

So--Rosie tagged me to do this list of questions about my husband. I don't talk about Todd a lot, so this could be many of your first glimpses of him:) He is just kinda a shy and private person, so I tend to let him keep to himself and leave him off the blog--BUT HERE HE IS!!!

1. Where did you meet your hubby? Todd worked at Bonanza Ford in Cheney and sold my Uncle Jim a truck. While they were driving around in the truck my Uncle Jim called and put me on the phone with poor Todd. Jim knew I was coming to Spokane for a teaching conference that next week and so he set it up for Todd and I to hang out. Apparently Todd didn't think I would actually call him when I was in town, but I did--oops:) He got to go on a blind date with me, Liz Martinez (Kondo) and Sammi Rocha (no way was I going alone).

2.How long did you date before you got married? We dated a little over 2 years before we got married.
3.How long have you been married? We got married in July of 06, so 2 1/2 years I guess.
4.What does He do to surprise me? He puts up with my attitude--it is surprising that anyone would!! Neither of us are very romantic or lovey, so not a lot of surprising going on in our house.
5.My favorite feature of his? His smile. He has cute dimples and a great smile.
6.What is his best quality? He is nice to everyone. This is not a quality that I have, so it impresses me. Also, he is good at faking a good conversation with someone--even if he is bored, or mad, or whatever---he makes everyone feel like he cares about what they are saying.
7.Nickname he has for me? Like I said--we are not really the nick namey type--sorry to disappoint.
8.His favorite food? He loves Arby's if we are going to go with fast food. Restaurant food----he always orders carne asada. He is still in search of the best restaurant steak too.
9.His favorite sport? I always think football because he played it in college and that is what we watch the most, but he probably likes basketball more. At least when he was in high school it sounds like basketball was his favorite. Watching pro basketball is not his favorite though so I am not sure here.
10.Where and when did you first kiss? Not on our first date--I made a quick retreat from the car and accidently made him think I didn't like him--it was pretty awkward. He actually called from the car to see if he had done something to make me made--oops. I stuck around for a while longer on date #2. We were in front of my sister's house in Spokane and my brother in law told me the next day that the headlights were shining right into their bedroom window--ha ha.
11.What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? We like to go out to eat. We also tend to watch movies at home--not in the theater. We are so boring ----really.
12. Do you have any children? Of course the little Emma monster. She is running head long towards her 1st birthday in April.
13.Does he have any hidden talents? selling cars. I don't know why people trust him and think he is the man, but they do. He could sell ice to the eskimos (or the Pitchers).
14.How old is he? 27???? I think. He was born in 81 and is two years younger than me (I know the cradle was robbed), but I didn't even remember how old I was going to be this year, so I am gonna stick with 27???
15.Who said I love you first? He did. Really Really 1st. I had just gone through a few horrible relationship mistakes, so I was NOT rushing into anything. Poor guy had to deal with ALL of my relationship issues---I had kinda turned into a bitter old spinster I think:)
16.What is his favorite music? He listens to EVERYTHING. Right now though he skips the music and listens to talk radio--yuck!!
17.What do I admire most about him? He tries really hard at everything he does. He tries to be a good dad, he is trying to learn about the church (which is no small thing), he tries and tries and tries. He also has great business sense. I would give all our money away to bums and animal shelters if it was up to me, but he is a great provider. I probably freak him out with my spending habits, but he never gets mad about it.
18.What is his favorite color? I honestly think he is color blind based on what he comes out wearing sometimes, but he swears that he is not. He does wear a lot of blue and green, so maybe those are his fave. Not really sure. Poor guy wears work clothes 90% of the time, so it is hard to know what he likes. I like him to wear red becuase it looks good with his dark hair:)
19.Will he read this? Yes--He sneaks on the blog once in a while. He will point out all of the things that I SHOULD have put.
20. I tag Amy, Fran, and Bobbie.
