A good day!!

Today was just a fun, happy, good overall day. It started off with a visit from Madison Koelzer (ex-cheerleader). Her and Emersyn got re-acquainted and I got a little bit of gossip:) Then she left and Emersyn went down for her morning nap. While she was sleeping, Marcie arrived. So Emersyn woke up to a friendly face. Marcie (sweet gal that she is) brought Emersyn a valentine gift. She even out-did Todd and I in the gift department--good thing I am not a jealous person--he he. This amazingly cute plate, food tray and cup were from Marcie. How sweet huh?? She also brought her a cute jacket and shirt (they were already in Emersyn's room so I did not take a picture cause Emersyn was sleeping). Thanks Marcie for being such a sweetie and for such a fun day.


Then Marcie, Emma and I went to visit Baby Hailey. She is the new baby of one of my students, Erika Hernandez. I did not take any pictures of her cause I was too busy staring at her and wondering what happened to my sweet little baby girl??? She grew up!!! Emersyn was so funny with the baby. First she stole her little baby mittens. Then she wanted to touch and pull on her fingers. Then when she woke up she laughed and wanted to touch her eyes. I don't think she is ready to have another baby in the house-thank goodness she doesn't have to worry about that any time soon. It is also a good thing that Emersyn is not a jealous girl either because Hailey has tons of black curly hair--so cute.


On they way home Emersyn got a little cranky and I un-thinkingly handed a box of kleenex back to her. The next time I looked back this is what I saw--a snow storm. She was pretty proud of herself too!!! I just love this kid!!!!!


This picture is not from today and really doesn't have a good story to go along with it, but it is just darn cute I think. This is the view I have of her 90% of the day. See ya mom--I have better things to do--like chase the cat:)

After nap #2, our good day continued. My momma stopped by and hung out with us. So when Emersyn woke up she met another familiar face. Who could ask for a better day???? We had babies and Samson and Grandma!!! Thanks everyone for a fun day!!
