Funday Sunday!!

Today was supposed to be a mini-craft day for Marcie and Amy and I, but Marcie got sick and had to stay home--tears--plus the boys took off and left us with the girls--no surprise. All in all in was a good day for Amy and I to catch up, not be alone at home, and eat good food. Somewhere in there we also got some crafts done and watched a little Gilmore Girls. I worked on a tablerunner for my front room coffee table. It was by far the most intricate quilting I have ever done and caused me a little trouble here and there, but turned out fine. Of course I still need to quilt and bind it, so this might be as far as I go--you all know how I am about finishing my projects. Actually I love it and think it fits in great with room. My couch IS actually brown and orange, so it all works:)
The little girls enjoyed each other's company too. Actually they stole each other's food, fought over toys and sippy cups, and watched Baby Einstein. They are 2 very stubborn and a little spoiled little girls and they crack me up every time they get together. They want what they want when they want it. JUST LIKE AMY AND I!!! We don't fight over treats, but we would if we thought it might be the last one:)
Here the girls had plenty of gerber cheese puffs to go around so there was a brief moment of working together to eat as many puffs as possible before "the moms" found out and took them away. All in all it was a fun and productive day.
Thanks Amy. We missed you Marcie--Get better. We will have to craft together again soon. We all know I have plenty of projects to work on!!!

AH! I am so sad that I missed out on all that fun! I am feeling better, but afraid of what bug I have and it infecting you guys, especially the cheese puff hoarders. :) I worked a little yesterday on my quilt tops and got my first one completed! I think I'm going to sew the back on with the batting, turn it inside out (no binding), and tie it. That should be sufficient for my first project! :) Yes - a craft day soon and I won't be sick this time!

Nice work Jessica. Very pretty !
The pic of the girls and their treats are so funny. In the one where they are looking at the camera...it looks like Emersyn is going into some kind of cheese puff shock or withdrawl or something. : )

Emersyn is getting so big! It has been too long!
