Emersyn was confused that I was not taking a picture of her I think, so she snuck in anyway. ALL BOUND AND EVERYTHING. It feels good to finish things. I should really do that more often:)
So February ended kinda boring for us. The only excitement was getting to go on walks again. Emersyn and I found one sunny day and one cold day and went down to the river. She loved the geese, ducks, and horses. AND of course the dogs being walked along the way. I could not resist getting a picture with her ears, but she was not cooperating.
She didn't wanna be a bunny!!!
But I wore her down. SMILE!!!
Friday we went out with my in-laws for Kevin's birthday dinner. We went to Famous Dave's which by the way was fantastic. Lots of food and YUMMY--I recommend it. Nothing like a huge fattening meal to start off the weekend right.
Emersyn went for a spin in Grandma's laundry basket.
Our next walk was good and horrible. Horrible because it was too cold, but good because we spotted some horses who were up and walking around. Emersyn has a hard time seeing the animals if they are being lazy and laying down, (I think she just thinks they are big lumps of dirt) but SCORE we happened upon two standing up and cooperating. It was hilarious because Emersyn instanly just starting talking to them using all of her baby words. She apparently had a lot to say to these ponies because she really let them have it. One of the horses had his head over the fence and snorted at her and that pretty much put an end to their conversation. She said bye-bye to the horses for almost the rest of the way home and kept turning around in her seat to see if she could possibly still see them. She is for sure and animal lover. My dad said maybe she recognized them from her baby einstein movie--which she is of course watching right now:)

I know--ears again??? but really how long can you force your kid to wear ears?? I gotta get it in while I can. Here she is after our walk with her red nose, red cheeks, and cold red little fingers (she thinks gloves are from the devil).

So besides a relaxing Sunday at Grandma June's and playing with Grandma Judy and Grandpa Johnny, that pretty much sums up our weekend. I hope to be productive this week so I can get my sewing stash in the box--because really what else do Amy and I have to look forward to besides buying craft supplies????
