Emersyn and I have been miserable for about the last 5 days. After 2 nights of sleeping straight through until 530, she began waking up all night again. She screams and cries and roots around the bed from about 1130 until 5. Only sleeping in occasional 30 minute intervals. Then for some reason her naps are just as bad. If a tooth does not make an appearance soon, we are both going to be crazy. So needless to say, my body is not willing to do anything useful today--like laundry, or mopping, or anything really. SO I decided that I would continue what I started last month and list some things that I love. I really just need to think of something positive for a few minutes and forget the nagging fatigue.

I left of with G, so I am going to combine G, H, and I. First on the list, Grandmas. I love love love my grandmas. They are the greatest grandmas on the earth. Grandma June is my mom's mom and seriously I will be her in 50 years. We have a lot in common. She is feisty and funny and even though she is not feeling so great right now, she is still a great grandma. We go to her house for lunch every Sunday afternoon and it is the best food we eat all week. Her house is so cute and crafty too--we call it Grandma's Gingerbread house. I am so glad that Emersyn has gotten to know her GREAT grandma.
My Grandma Louise passed away a few years back, but I miss her constantly. She was a rock for me and for my family. She was the coolest old lady ever. I always called her for advice and no subject was off limits. She would talk about anything and was not shy about giving her opinions. I loved that.
She also loved to have fun--she was always young at heart. She took me to the ocean with her during the summer and I always had a blast. She also let us have granddaughter sleepovers at her house and never seemed tired. She even let us bake in her kitchen and never cared how big of a mess we made or how bad the finished product was. I learned a lot of important lessons from her--like making breakfast in bed for my mom on mother's day. She was always doing for other people and gave 1 thousand percent of herself to her family. I need to try to be more like her. I feel lucky to have had her in my life for so long, but I miss her and wish she could have met Emersyn.
Moving on to less emotional topics---GREAT BRITAIN. I believe I have mentioned my love of Europe before:) I feel like a faulty English and History teacher to not have been to these amazing and famous places. I also love the FRIENDS episode when they go to LONDON BABY!!! So funny.
So cool. Why have I not been there??? SIGH!! NO more G's.
As for H, I love Hawaii. I think it is such a paradise. I have been there twice and would go every year if I could. The first time I went with friends and had a great time on Oahu.

The 2nd time I went was of course for my wedding. We cruised around and stopped at all of the islands and it was such a beautiful trip. I love how nice the people are there and totally willing to chat. I guess they are so used to tourists being around that they just live with it, but they are also just really nice people I think. Anybody wanna head back to Hawaii with me--I don't know if Todd really cares about going back again????

I is for Ice-cream. I believe Ice-cream should be one of the food groups. For me it is pretty much an every day thing. Sadly, I have given it up until I reach a certain weight--2 pounds to go--and so I pretty much have ice-cream on the brain for a good part of the day. It is just such a comfort food and always makes me feel better. I don't know that it would work on my poor tired brain right now, but I am sure it would try its best:)

haha. you are too funny. I loved your grandma winebarger! I remember going to her house a lot. She was ALWAYS so nice! We helped her put up her christmas tree one year(i'm pretty sure it was the year before she passed) and she wasn't feeling good, and she felt SO bad she couldn't get up and help us. She was such a cute nice lady!
I was just remembering bball state last year when our good little girls brought us ice cream. Love them! (can you tell I'm bored at work?)
well that made me sad. I am going to copy you and talk about grandma. I am tired of today. I hope that I am like grandma when I am old she was the neatest lady, I really miss her too.
I loved your Grandmas the minute I met them. I just wanted to hug them all the time and did it every time I could. Your Farm Grandma was so adorably cute at your wedding reception when she went through the line looking so pretty in her dress and introduced me to her friend. She reminded me of my Grandma. Grandma June reminds me of my Mom in a lot of ways. Very sweet ladies !
Ahhh. so fun to look back on memory lane! I love your Grandma June! What a sweet lady!
And the ice cream reminds me of temple trips--one in particular when we were driving back home and we were going through some road construction. You had a popsicle (I know it isn't ice cream, but close enough to remind me of this) and you were yelling at the guy holding the sign, "Hey mister! You want my popsicle?!?!" We laughed so hard the rest of the way home--of course we laughed the whole way there and back, but that was funny!
