We have had a quiet week. Emersyn has been sleeping like a champ EXCEPT Daylight savings time SUCKS. She is so confused that she doesn't know when to sleep or eat or play. She has gone from consistently going to bed between 730 and 830 to staying up to watch American Idol and going to bed around 10:00. YIKES. We are trying everything to get back onto some sort of schedule--hopefully soon. BUT she is sleeping through till about five every morning, so I guess I cannot complain--but I still will a little:)
So---I would like to continue on through the alphabet and share some of my favorites.
THE LETTER J has always been a favorite of mine obviously because of a few people: Johnny, Judy, Justin, Jenny, Jane, Jim, June, Janet, am I missing anyone???? Besides my ENTIRE family almost, there are some great J's out there for me to love.
JOHNNY DEPP
Although I usually do not love his movies, I think he is an incredible actor. He is so weird and quirky. PLUS he is so darn hot. I think I have always had a thing for the bad boy type (I know I married the exact opposite). I used to always talk about Johnny Depp to my students because they thought I was weird and would laugh at me--which always helps in the learning process. Anyway...one student even gave a speech about Johnny Depp and made a visual of me and Johnny together--photoshop--I kept it on my bulletin board for a few years after that. It was just good to imagine:)
Here is older but still hot and sexy Johnny.
Then we have baby boy Johnny. Young and 21 Jump Street Hot.
And of course the classic Pirate Look. These movies would have sucked without him--BUT with him, GREAT. I love how crazy he is.
Imagine how the little High School girls are about Edward (Twilight) and that is how I am about Johnny Depp--besides the random giggling. I always told my students to write into Oprah and tell her how much I love him and maybe she would introduce us--THEY never did--bummer.
He kinda makes you wanna be a damsel in distress doesn't he???? Or maybe even surrender your booty;)
Some other J's to mention---junk food, Jack Sparrow--oh wait--still Johnny, I guess I really got nothing else--sorry. American Idol just got over so I can go to bed--way more exciting than thinking about J words!!!!!

Yeah for Emersyn sleeping so long! Before too much longer, I will be joining the walking dead (AKA moms of newborns)! It just isn't coming soon enough--my friend is having her baby today and I am soo jealous!

That's funny! Did you enjoy your weekend of not having to prep a lesson? Emerysn is such a good girl! Max is having a hard time sleeping through the night again. I don't know what we need to do. Oh wait I do, we need to stay at home and get a schedule going. Poor Max has crazy parents. I'm glad she is sleeping though.
I'm with you there on the junk food. Actually the older i have gotten, and we are both old now ya know, I would rather have a steak and potatoes and salad versus dessert or candy. I know, I have lost my flipping mind!:)
