I finally found my camara:)

Hello again. I babysat Gracelyn last Tuesday and told Franny I would post pictures for her that night--Unfortunately, I could not find my camara. Those little girls are a little too good at hide and go seek because I just found it yesterday. BUT here are the pictures from my day with the girls.

In the beginning they thought they loved each other, but then they realized that they both liked the same toys and then they were not so sure about having friends.

They both really loved the little chair and as you can see Emersyn was not about the give it up without a fight. I think in a few years (or maybe months) she is going to bully back against this bigger girls and I am not REAL sure that she will not win. As you can see though, Emersyn was NOT the winner in this battle and had to watch Baby Einstein from the floor NEXT to her little chair--Watch out Gracee, because I think pay backs will be coming soon:)

I think it can be called a love/hate relationship. Emersyn did not always end up on the bottom though and she really tried to hold her own. HOWEVER--she cannot walk quite as well and so starts off a little of balance--they cracked me up all day because they just kept hugging and loving and then wrestling and pushing.

Gracee must not get much computer time at home because she was THRILLED when she saw that my laptop was within little hands reach. She thought she would take a break and update my blog--I should have let her because I have been slow to post.

Emersyn taught Grace how to properly watch Baby Einstein--close up and personal.

I think Grace thought that Emersyn was her little doll--she wanted to brush her hair and drag her along with her wherever she went. The funniest thing was how they played together. They wanted the same things but didn't want to play TOGETHER. Like, Grace would put the dolly into the stroller but by the time she got back up and went to push the stroller, Emersyn would have unloaded the dolly. Then Grace would have to start all over. They sabotaged each other like that all day.

They DID both really enjoy snack time--which pretty much lasted the whole day. They consumed more snacks in 3 hours then Emersyn usually eats in 3 days--I guess they are just like the big girls---When we have girls days we always end up eating a lot too:)
The girls went missing for a few minutes while I was folding laundry and this is what I found. They had found a bag of raisens and decided to share them. They thought that Atty girl needed some too. Gracee was trying to tempt the kitty from out from under the bed by sharing her raisens. I could hear Atty growling and hissing at her, but she never gave up. She made about 100 trips back to my bedroom to try to find the kitty cat.
SOOOO what did I learn from this day...
1. I am for sure not ready to add another little body to my family any time soon.
2. People with lots of kids close together are amazing.
3. My house is not toddler proof!!
4. Sometimes Mommys NEED naps too.
5. Feeding 2 kiddos at once is pretty much impossible with only 1 high chair.
6. It IS possible for me to get less done than usual.
7. Did I mention that the thought of having another baby makes me want to cry and hide in the closet???

so when I was looking at this post Gracee was sitting on my lap and these pictures must have brought back some good memories because she jabbered away--I have no idea what she was saying, but it was about 5 mins. long. And by the way gracee LOVES your monkeys you have on as a border, at the end of the 5 min jabber I understood hooo, hooo, hoo, ahh, ahhh, ahh. Speaking of busy bodies, I better go because Gracee is dumpster diving as we currently speak.
