Happy Sunday!!

PHEWWW!!! No more talk to worry about--YAY! I don't know why speaking in church always makes me so nervous, but I guess it must be because I know that some of the people know SOOO much more than me and are way better at expressing themselves--that makes me a little scared. BUT it is over and no puking or fainting--that is a plus.
Emersyn and I were exhausted after lunch at grandma's today and we came home and crashed together in my bed. We were supposed to have home teachers come at 5 and Emersyn and I did not wake up until 615. Apparently they came while we slept and Todd didn't wake me up--I am not gonna lie--I was a little embarrassed. Oh well--What can I do about it now???

We were exhausted though from our Weekend O' Fun!! It started on Friday. Amy, Fran, and I somehow managed to get all 3 of our guys to watch the girls on the same day--A MIRACLE!! So Amy and I headed to the quilt show and took a look at all the amazing quilts. It really put my measly sewing skills into perspective for me:) Some of those quilts blew my mind. We managed to buy some fun patterns and a little bit of fabric and then headed out to meet Fran at the craft show. I sometimes forget what life was like before I moved to babyville. I love my kid, but it was so nice to walk down the isles AND into the booths and look at all of the crafts. Even though I didn't buy anything, it was an amazingly relaxing afternoon of girl time. WE MUST DO IT AGAIN SOON!!!

Saturday was not relaxing, but still fun. We all took our kids to the Mercantile to have Annette take their pictures with the cutest bunnies in the world. Emersyn was totally unsure at first and Delaney was running around like a crazy person. It was great--they were so cute. Soon enough they both settled down and we got some AMAZING pictures. Annette is so great at what she does. We also got to go eat lunch at the Mercantile. I have never been there, it is such a fun cute place. We were there from 1130 until 300 or so while we picked out all of our pictures and the girls pretty much harassed the baby chicks to death and ran around like they were possessed and wore themselves out. We got to see lots of people though-Kam and Christine and Cutter, Sara Monteireth and her little girl, Libby Bailie and her little girl, Mr. Sellerite and his grandaughter. It was like high school all over again. Emersyn finally melted down and we had to leave the fun. This is what a day of chasing bunnies around does to a little girlie...

As if that was not enough for a busy Saturday, we had plans with some friends from church to go bowling. It was supposed to be a group of young married couples (we try to get together once a month), but it ended up being Todd and I (and Emma) AND Brock and Emily Gibbons. I guess nobody else wanted to hang out with us:) We did have fun though--WE HEART THE GIBBONS!!! Emersyn had a blast. She even got to roll the ball down the lane and managed to hit a few pins--which honestly was better than we were doing some of the time.

Emersyn quickly learned that she Loved to have stairs without a gate--I bet she climbed up those stairs about thirty times--she was pretty proud of herself.

I know this is not a great picture, but if look close you can see that I beat Todd by 1 point--Yay me. I have NEVER beat Todd at ANYTHING. He is good at EVERYTHING. BUT apparently I am a good bowler:) At 118 I should not brag, but I don't think I have EVER gotten over 100--Pretty proud of myself:)

Last weekend Todd took Saturday off instead of Friday, so I cleaned like a mad woman for a few hours and totally set my sights on finishing a craft project. I whipped up this little spring tablerunner, but did not manage to finish binding it until this weekend. I love Spring and this cute little guy just makes me happy with the bright colors and pretty pastels. Finally something that I made that I like--YAY!!
So we had a fun and busy weekend and tomorrow brings more fun. Marcie and Amy and Delaney are coming to visit and we are going to make our April calendars. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Let's hope for some warm weather tomorrow!!!

I loved that she passed out in the car... cause Jason took the same picture of me on the way home! I had so much fun but I felt like what she did! FYI if you want to get the picture off my blog to share with your friends I will let you!
