On the mend!!

So things are finally looking up at the Perkins' house. Thanks everyone for your sweet comments and suggestions. It was good to finally get comments again:) We are feeling better today. YAY!! We have both actually eaten real food today--this is a step forward:)
Funny Emersyn story. So this is the kind of story that she will hate when she is older, but right now I am going to tell the world. She has had horrible diarrhea for days now, so she pretty much knows what is going on now. So she will be playing and then will have loud horrible gas---I mean scary, hear it in another room gas. Then she will look up with sad cute little eyes and go "uh oh!" It is so sad, but I laugh everytime too. "Uh oh" for sure. She even knows that after that it is time to head to the bedroom to change her pants--poor kid.
I got a substitute for my primary class tomorrow because I am feeling better, but Emersyn is still not quite herself. Besides the digestive problems she is sad and tired and wants to be held most of the time. She also has no energy and I can tell she is just not quite back to normal yet. I am sad to spend another day locked up in our house, but I would be more sad to be out with a sad sick baby with killer diarrhea!!!

On the upside, I did finish binding a quilt.

Here is the back.

I made the mistake of deciding to hand quilt this one. I only quilted around every OTHER triangle on the back, but it still was more work than I thought it would be. Good to be done with it though.

Well that is all we have been up to. I am hoping for some warm weather tomorrow so that we can at least get out and take a walk. WE NEED TO GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE!!!

I love this quilt!!!! Good job! Maybe Mom and I will have to stop by and bring you our new favorite treat - a Lemon Berry Slushie from Sonic. We'll be in town on Monday for a doctor appt for Mom. I'm glad you're feeling better and that Em is on the mend. Cute story.

I'm glad you guys are doing somewhat better. Wow, what an ordeal! I don't blame you at all for staying home from church. It's better for everyone, that way. I hope the weather's nice so you can at least get out.
