Sunny Days

Are you not all loving the sunshine???? We are LOVING IT!!! Emersyn is simply wearing herself out trying to enjoy it as much as she can. Yesterday she wore herself out at church playing outside with her dad and Josh and Max. By the time she got to grandma's for lunch, she was basically a zombie. I thought I better get some lunch into her first so that she could take a long nap. It didn't quite work out though because she fell asleep in her high chair. She head bobbed for a while and then grabbed my arm and layed herself down on it and fell right to sleep. Poor little monkey.

Then last night Todd put up this gazeebo thing in our back yard (with a little help from his happy helper). I am pretty excited to finally have shade--YAY!!

Today Em enjoyed some time in the sun playing with Atty Catty. Actually she chased and Atty ran and hissed--but to Emersyn it was a good time.

She also picked some pretty flowers (dandelions) and made me a pretty little stack.

We had our first day of cheer tryouts today. Emersyn was so excited that she forgot to take a nap on the way to Connell. She then ran laps like a crazy person in the gym for about the first 2 hours, but then she realized she was exhausted and got CRANKY. I think she was sad because of the lack of girls at tryouts. For some reason nobody wants to be a Connell Cheerleader this year:(
