Still celebrating the birthday:)

Yesterday Grandpa Johnny brought over cupcakes for Emersyn's birthday. We thought we would try a practice run of the cake eating before Sunday. NO PROBLEM!!! She didn't even hesitate. Just jumped right in. She is definitely my kid--she loves a good cupcake:)

PURE HAPPINESS!!

Then today we went birthday shopping for Uncle Ryan (and me although my birthday is in November). We met up with Amy and Delaney and rocked the mall. Emersyn was too excited about her carseat being switched to front facing to take a nap this morning on the way (that was the plan), but after a few hours of shopping she was pooped out. She loves facing front--what a relief. She didn't cry, fuss, or complain. She just kept telling me "hi" and playing peekaboo with. I am SOOO glad that the rearfacing days are over!!!

By the way...we went to the doctor yesterday and got Emersyn checked out. She is getting over her ear infection--YAY, but now has a yeast infection--BOOO!! She has also lost 2 pounds in the last two weeks and only weights 19 pounds (17th percentile) and is 31 inches long (97th percentile). So she is officially a beanpole:) We are hoping to get her fattened back up like the rest of us soon. The doctor was also totally cracked up by Em. As soon as she walked in the door Emersyn wanted to talk and play with her. She brought the doctor snacks and toys to share. She played peekaboo and waved bye bye. She pretty much showed her all the tricks. The best was when she walked up to the doctor (in her diaper and shoes) and started tickling her. She says "ticka ticka ticka" The doctor about lost it. She said she has never had a kid with tickle tickle as one of the first words--I knew my kid was special!! She also said she is way ahead in her verbal skills, but I mean come on---what Winebarger doesn't talk a lot???? So she is right on track and growing on up.

We are looking forward to more parties tomorrow and right on into Sunday--YAY for birthdays:)
