Easter Extravaganza!!

 Easter just WOULD NOT be Easter with out coloring eggs.  Emersyn got Sparkley Glitter dye this year---pretty fancy:) 

 AND...it would not be EMERSYN without a silly pose with her eggs!!  AND it would not be an evening with Ethan without a bit of crying in the high chair:)  He REALLY wanted to get his hands on some eggs!! 

 He did enjoy his (and two other peoples') fair share of boiled eggs 

 Nothing like a little after dinner SECOND dinner to make a big boy smile. 

 When REAL eggs would not do the trick anymore, chocolate eggs REALLY hit the spot.  And of course not ONE at a time or TWO at a time...but AS MANY AS HE COULD SHOVE IN HIS MOUTH at one time was how many he needed!!

After the eggs we were treated to a show....

MEET Brit-er-ella!!

For those of you who are not watching a continuous stream of Alvin and the Chipmunks...that would be a combination of Britney and Cinderella.  Briterella is a name that Emersyn gave to herself of course!!  You may also notice the criss cross necklace...that is actually her GIRL SCOUT uniform.  She has decided she wants to be a girl scout, so she practices wearing the sash!!  What a crack up:) 

She pulled out all the stops and shook her GROOVE THING!!!  We got a great little show:) 

PHEWWW!! If I had her energy my house would not look like a RABID EASER BUNNY just nested in it right now...anyway...moving on to EASTER MORNING!!

 Ethan pretty much had NO CLUE what was going on.  Why are there eggs in my living room?  What am I supposed to do with the baseket?  Why is everyone so excited? 

 He sorta started to get the hang of things when her realized that candy was maybe involved!!!

 Em is such a good sport.  I ALWAYS want to get a good shot of the two of them and she is ALWAYS so willing to pose with her brother.  HE on the other hand refuses to play along.

 He tolerates about 3 seconds...

 Starts the WHINE....

and then makes a run for it!!!  But EM...she just keeps on smiling for the camara..haha!!

 We headed to Mom's after church.  TODAY was Grandma Judy's Birthday---the big 65!!!  SOO we had a birthday/Easter party...fun fun:)  I don't know why I bother, but I tried for another shot of the kids.  NO LUCK!!!

 Well...maybe NEXT year.....

Emersyn was SUPER excited to look for eggs.  She was also excited because Aunt Jenny bought her a chipette shirt for Easter....she was more happy about that than the Chipwrecked movie the Easter bunny got her.  Speaking of a disappointing Easter Bunny...Emersyn opened her eggs at our house and kept saying...MORE M&M's ...SERIOUSLY????  I guess buying ONLY her favorite candy was a poor choice on the poor Easter Bunny's part.  Man this whole holiday with kids thing is VERY complicated!!! 

 Two things I love about this picture...The chipetter shirt and leggings make me smile.  AND her holding her Easter basket like a purse.  LOVE IT!!!

I could't even get a still shot of Ethan...her just ran around like a crazy person...NOT searching for eggs!!!

 I take that back....her DID have 3 in his basket when it was all over:) 

 Emersyn on the other hand was the egg champ...we do not mess around when it comes to getting MORE chocolate!!!

 Here is Emersyn posing again...this time for the video camara.  Cracked me up.  Todd was trying to video her looking for eggs and she decides to freeze and pose for him.  She just wants to be a star...What can I say???

 These kids LOVE their Auntie Kelly.  She plays, colors, and helps check out their loot.  What more could they ask for???
