Things are getting a little more normal around here. Besides worrying every second that Ethan is going to fall, or get bumped, or climb onto the kitchen counters and JUMP---everything has started to settle down a bit. Todd stayed home from work today, so the four of us just tried to hang out and get back in the swing of life. As you can see Ethan has a BIT more of an eye today. I cannot believe that after ALL of the work they did inside that head that he is ALMOST starting to look like a kid again:)
Along with wanting to be pushed around the house in his car, Ethan ALSO stole this stroller from his sister and took it for a few rounds. He was SOOO cute pushing the baby around. He kept turning to us and yelling...EHHH. As in HEY GUYS ARE YOU WATCHING ME???
He had his cranky moments and his good moments, but he is really healing up nicely. He is not taking his Oxycodone anymore--just tylenol and ibuprofen...so that is a start. He doesn't seem to be bothered TOO much by pain, although at times I think he gets a bit OVER DONE. He breaks down pretty quick and cries when anything isn't going quite right. I think having a big old headache just makes everything seem worse. Speaking of headaches--he had his first crash today---helped along by his sister. He got a bump on the back of his head and screamed like CRAZY---I do not know how I will EVER get used to him bumping that NEWLY put back together head...YIKES!
He did humor us though tonight by playing a little peek-a-boo. SOO CUTE!!
AND he can still manage to think of others. He REALLY thought dolly needed a blankie. I guess being pushed full speed through the kitchen gets a bit drafty!!!
And then there is Miss Emersyn. She got right back in the swing of things by trying out all of her new birthay toys AND trying on all of her birthay clothes. Including her swimsuit from BOBBIE...so cute.
I am not sure where she gets her poses, but she sure is stinking cute:) I am so glad to be home...even though I cannot find my kitchen counter and my laundry room has seen better days--haha!!

UM I am pretty sure you left your baby at the hospital, he looks like a BIG boy with that new head! For real, he looks great! Too old, but great! So glad you are a week out! Happy days!
